Success Stories

At Platinum Solutions, we pride ourselves in being practical in our approach and responsive to dynamic requirements. We work on targeted engagements that bring maximum benefits while ensuring minimum interruption to operations. We understand the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps culture and command structure, and the dynamic way that military, civilians, and contractors must work together as a team to complete missions. Platinum Solutions has extensive experience in this environment and has proven itself in this chain of command. Recent success stories include:

WESS

Web-Enabled Safety System (WESS) - When the United States Naval Safety Center (Hampton Roads, VA), the Special Operations Command (SOCOM), and the Marine Corps leaders needed to upgrade their Web-Enabled Safety System (WESS), they chose Platinum Solutions to develop and implement their new enhanced system. WESS is a case management reporting and tracking system for air, land and sea mishaps. The system records and tracks accidents, lessons learned, safety violations, and procedural impacts. Based on the analysis of the collected data, the WESS team is able to make policy recommendations to enhance safety.

WESS was designed and deployed for interoperability with the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI). The United States Navy continues to partner with Platinum Solutions for expert systems integration and project management to develop, test, and deploy additional systems better, faster, and at reduced costs.

WESS

Web-Enabled Safety System (WESS) Jump Module - The United States Naval Safety Center again chose Platinum Solutions to continue their success with the WESS program. Platinum Solutions is currently designing and implementing the Jump module for the existing WESS system. The Jump module of WESS will track parachute jumps made by all Sailors and Marines in the fleet along with the associated cargo drops. It will prepare flight jump manifests, provide personal and command jump logs, assist with maintaining qualifications records, and provide regular activity reporting for commands that monitor jump and cargo drop activity. Again, the Jump module will also be fully operational with the NMCI.

Army - INSCOM - The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) conducts dominant intelligence, security, and information operations for military commanders and national decision makers. When they were looking for a team of design and implementation experts, they chose Platinum Solutions. We successfully developed a visual interface to determine signal baselines and perform analyses by utilizing advanced software techniques and statistics. This program enables INSCOM to acquire the seamless intelligence needed to understand the battlefield and to focus and leverage combat power.
